Photo with 4 notes

I just found this picture of my Uncle Robert one of his friends posted on facebook. Since I didn’t see him enough to have my own pictures of him and because a lot of recent pictures of him don’t capture him as I remember him, I was happy to find this picture as it perfectly captures how I remember my beloved uncle. For as long as I can remember, I looked up to my Uncle Robert (and not just because he was tall haha.) He was just such a caring guy and for some reason I felt drawn to him. Like I just wanted to follow him everywhere he went. All three times that I got to spend time with him over the years, I felt like that. He was SUCH a funny guy. My nana likes to say he was a frustrated comedian. I miss him so much. We were just getting to really know each other since the last time I saw him the week of my Popa’s funeral almost a year ago and were finding footing in our uncle-niece relationship, now that I’ve grown up. I miss him so much. Christmas Eve is going to be hard. :/
