VH1 is counting down the 100 greatest women in music and Hayley Williams of Paramore made the list at #77. Click HERE to see the full countdown including videos from each woman on the list.
Congratulations, Hayley!
I don’t like them.
I don’t understand the hype.
I don’t like a ton of bands/singers that everyone seems to love.
I’m so glad the whole we love Lady Gaga junk has died down - well on my dashboard. ughhhh I can’t stand some of these people.
Nonetheless we need more Aboriginal/Native American artists to be involved with these types of award shows. Wouldn’t it be cool to see a Native pop star or Native band in different categories….and no not with their own special Native American category - like actually competing with other popular mainstream bands?
That would be awesome! Much needed in the whitebread entertainment industry.

“The loss of Whitney Houston is painful. I remember meeting Whitney for the first time when I was 15. She was the ultimate legend. The ultimate woman. Not only was she confident, poised, stunningly beautiful and intelligent, but she was sincere and kind. She took the time to make everyone feel like they were very important to her. I, like every singer, always wanted to be just like her. Her voice was perfect. Strong but soothing. Soulful and classic. Her vibrato, her cadence, her control. So many of my life’s memories are attached to a Whitney Houston song. She is our queen and she opened doors and provided a blueprint for all of us. God bless her.” - Beyonce Knowles.
